General Booking Terms & Conditions

Travlest is a product of Ammar De Venture Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd (1232481-H) under the Malaysian law. The use of this website is subject to your acceptance of our terms and conditions. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions, you must refrain from using the website.

Your vacation itinerary is always subject to change. It is at our sole discretion to amend these policies from time to time. When we make material changes to the policies, we will provide you with notice as appropriate under the circumstances and it is your responsibility to regularly check the Websites to determine if there have been changes.

Guest Service Fee

For every booking made by the Customers, Travlest charges a Guest Service Fee of 6% upon confirmation of booking. Processing fee shall be deducted directly from the amount paid to us, and it is non-refundable in all circumstances, unless the Services are cancelled by Featured Partner.

Processing fee is used for our marketplace maintenance and geographical expansion to serve you better.

Rates and Payment

Rates displayed on our website can be viewed and charged in Malaysian Ringgit, US Dollar, Hong Kong Dollar, EURO and British Pound . Some credit card providers may charge an International Transaction fee. This fee is passed on by some credit card providers because the charge for your booking has been processed outside of the country that you reside in. Please note that the charge has not been passed on by Travlest and that we cannot be held responsible for any international transaction charges passed on by your credit card issuer. The actual currency and amount that will be charged will be shown to you on the actual Booking page.

Travlest cannot be held responsible for currency exchange rates or bank surcharges whatever the circumstances.

Once you have accepted the cancellation policy for your booking as well as our terms and conditions, your credit card will be charged for the total cost at booking time.

The amount for your booking DOES NOT include any applicable charges for optional incidentals.

Rates displayed on the Travlest website are subject to currency fluctuations. There may be slight variations in the published rates on a daily basis that will reflect any movement in the currency exchange rates. Once a booking has been booked and confirmed at the rates you have accepted, there is no refund for the price difference because rates can be updated daily.

Travlest cannot be held responsible for currency exchange rates or bank surcharges whatever the circumstances.

Proof of ID

To protect the credit card holder and when a booking has been made by a 3rd party Travlest reserves the right to request proof of ID from the cardholder as well as a signed authorization form.

This security measure is not to cause any inconvenience but merely to protect the credit card holder against any credit card misuse.

Amendment policy

Our Featured Partner commit to help all amendments to bookings made at least 48 hours before the services are free of charge. To maintain the high quality of service provided, our Local Experts are unable to process amendments less than 48 hours in advance. Booking value is subject to changes after the amendment, and you shall be required to make immediate payment for the additional sum, if any. Any refund arising from amendment will be processed according to Refund Policy below. Details subject to amendment include:

Cancellation and refund policy

A cancellation of an accepted booking for the all booking services by a Customer will result in a penalty payable by the Customers for purposes of compensating any relevant party affected by the cancellation including Travlest and/or the Featured Partner, as follows:

A cancellation of an accepted booking services by a Customer up to 7 days (Malaysian calendar) before the scheduled commencement of the all services: a penalty of 10% of the agreed price of the services shall be payable by the Customer for breach of contract. The Customers will be entitled to refund of 90% of the agreed price for the services.
A cancellation of an accepted booking services by a Customer up to 3 days (72 hours) Malaysian calendar but less than 7 days (Malaysian calendar) before the scheduled commencement of the services: a penalty of 50% of the agreed price of the Booking shall be payable by the Customer for breach of contract. The Customers will be entitled to refund of 50% of the agreed price for the services.

A cancellation of an accepted booking services by a Customer 3 working days (Malaysian calendar) or less before the scheduled commencement of the services: a penalty of 100% of the agreed price of the Booking shall be payable by the Customer for breach of contract. No refund will be provided.

Any request for cancellation and refunds arising from any amendment or cancellation of booking shall be communicated to Travlest via email at [email protected] in accordance to the terms for cancellation and refund as provided above or notified to the parties from time to time. The Customer shall receive confirmation from

Refunds will be processed in the currency charged. For example, if you do not reside in a USD participating country, when checking your credit card statement you must allow for currency exchange fluctuation which may occur. Travlest cannot be held responsible for changes in currency exchange rates.

Please allow up to 30 business days for the refund to reflect on your credit card statement. Please note that the refunds will be processed by a bank or payment gateway provider. Travlest cannot be held responsible for this process.

General

The Travlest website is for legitimate bookings only. Anyone found to have used a credit card of which they have no authorised use will be liable to prosecution.

We reserve the right to cancel any booking that is deemed not to be legitimate.

When you contact us we will reply to your query within 5 working days.

Depending upon the nature of your query please allow up to 30 working days especially in the case of past booking queries for the situation to be looked into and concluded.

Security and Privacy

When visiting our website a record of your visit is logged.

Our company operates secure servers to minimize the risk of unauthorised credit card use.

Travlest guarantees that all sensitive information -e.g. your name, address, and credit card number- will be protected with the best security practices available when exchanged over the internet. The Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology we use ensures the privacy and security of all transactions. SSL technology encrypts data before it is transmitted, so that only the authorized recipient can have access to it.
